Three music schools have laid the foundation for new music education through education research resources that are mutually complementary, interaction between students and educators, as well as cooperative efforts with affiliated organizations. With this, “Leadership in Music Communication” are fostered to create and put into practice music activities in various aspects of society. For this project, in addition to the “specialization strength” of students majoring in music, their “communication ability” and “sociality” is also polished. Leadership is fostered, as is a rich music sense, the power to understand and connect people’s spirits, and the ability to resolve problems while adapting to various circumstances.
The first goal is for three music colleges to build a foundation for new music education through mutual supplementation of educational research sources, exchanges between students and faculty, and through cooperative work with pertinent organizations. The second goal is to train "music communication leaders" that create and practically apply musical activities in various parts of society. The third goal is to help our students majoring in music polish not only skills in their specialties, but also in their communication and social skills. Our final goal is to stimulate our students to richer musical sense, to a greater ability to bring people together by understanding their feelings, and to an enhanced leadership ability to solve problems in reacting appropriately in various situations.
